MAGGIE HERZER

Maggie began dancing at the age of 12 at Dance Gallery 2 in Roseville in the styles of Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap. Two years later, she decided to further her dance training at Dance Elite Allstars in Rocklin where she trained in the styles of Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Acrobatics and Hip Hop. She danced there for three years and also competed on the Senior Lyrical Company Team at Dance Elite earning various awards. At the same time, Maggie was dancing at Woodcreek High School where she choreographed many pieces for several winter and spring dance shows. She was also a teacher intern for the advanced dance class for three semesters and earned the title “Woodcreek’s Favorite Dancer of 2015.” She then decided to join the Woodcreek Dance Team her senior year. She is currently studying at Sierra Community College in Rocklin. In addition to dancing with SCDT, she is now also a dance instructor at El Dorado Dance Academy. Maggie is very grateful to have the opportunity to continue her love for dance and also share her passion and knowledge to her students.
