I am full of gratitude when I think about Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theatre.  So many elements brought this company to life: finding the dancers that were passionate about using their gift to give back to the community, acquiring a board that stood behind my vision for a mission based dance company, and having a support system that would help us reach our goals.  Our first concert, Resilience, benefitting UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center solidified the idea that our work as a company is relevant.  It is our mission to pair with local organizations to create works that will inspire, engage, inform and support our Sacramento Region.  I look forward to the future, excited for new challenges and opportunities!
