JONATHAN ROMERO

Jonathan Romero began dancing at the age of nine, studying Salsa and Ballroom Dance in Downtown Sacramento. As he gained experience, Jonny fell in love with Contemporary dance. A 2018 Granite Bay High School graduate, Romero was able to showcase his choreography in several productions under the direction of Deserie Milburn. This fall, Jonathan will be attending Sacramento State University for his second year to pursue his degree. Currently, Jonathan is the Head Dance Team Coach at Del Campo High School, as well as a Dance Teacher at a local studio called KM Dance Arts. This will be his second season performing with Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theater. Jonathan hopes to further transform the minds of peers and audiences through his performance and choreography.
