21st: 11th Annual Hard Hats and High Heels Gala     
​Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento, Memorial Auditorium, Sacramento, California

Considered to be one of the Sacramento’s preeminent black-tie events, Habitat’s Hard Hats & High Heels Gala sells out months in advance, and brings together high profile business leaders, elected officials, philanthropists and members of the media to support the vital work of Habitat for Humanity and raise money to address the affordable housing crisis in the Greater Sacramento Region.

7th-9th: The Crucible

We are thrilled to present our unique interpretation of The Crucible, following a successful world premiere at The Fringe Festival in Scotland this past August. 29th-30th: Howl     
​The Sofia, Sacramento, California

Join us for an unforgettable evening as the Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theatre partners with Jaws and Paws, an animal rescue and wolf conservation organization, to present Howl. This evocative performance weaves narratives of survival and the profound connection between all living beings, emphasizing the urgent need to protect these majestic animals. Under the direction of Artistic Director Jacob Gutiérrez-Montoya, Howl draws inspiration from Anjali Ranadivé and her team at Jaws and Paws, who rescue wolf dogs and advocate for the recovery of wild wolves in California. With a sanctuary for 20 rescued wolf-dogs, their mission is vital.  More than just a performance, Howl is a call to action. Through the expressive language of dance theatre, it invites audiences to reflect on their own experiences and ignites a passion for wildlife conservation. As dancers embody the struggles and triumphs of these animals, you will be inspired to engage in the mission of protecting our planet's wildlife. Prepare to be moved and motivated. Howl is a celebration of resilience, a tribute to our bond with nature, and a reminder that together, we can make a difference.

28th-29th: Pride At the Sofia     
​The Sofia, Sacramento, California

Through sensational storytelling and beautiful movement, The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre in Partnership with Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theatre creates a safe environment to witness the challenges that so many endure while discovering who they are. Celebrating the uniqueness and color of the LGBTQ+ community as a whole, the show features a brilliant ensemble cast from SCDT and a diverse set of voices from our creative community here at The Sofia, including the B Street acting company, local musicians, slam poets, drag queens and more! This forum reaches all ages and provides an opportunity to educate people about the LGBTQ+ community. Children, parents, and families that may not have access to queer representation might begin to have a conversation or be more open and aware of LGBTQ+ stories after experiencing this production.
